Theatre Statesville Presents a Christmas Carol

When: Friday, December 13; Saturday, December 14; and Sunday, December 15, 6 to 9 p.m.
Where: Statesville City Hall, 227 S. Center Street, Statesville
Details: All shows begin at Statesville City Hall and guests are asked to be at this location 15 minutes prior to the beginning of the show. This show will be presented as a guided walking tour of scenes from the famous story staged at different downtown locations, both indoors and out. General admission is $15.


Santa Land 2019

When: Friday, December 13, 5 to 7 p.m.
Where: Statesville Fitness and Activity Center, 1875 Simonton Road, Statesville
Details: Come enjoy climbing with the elves, inflatables, hot cocoa, popcorn, cookie decorating, crafts and more. Participants must be 5 years of age or older to climb. This event is free. Professional pictures with Santa will also be offered, cost is $5 (cash only) for a 5×7. You are more than welcome to take your own photos.


Music & Comedy Fundraiser

When: Friday, December 13 , 6 p.m.
Where: Welcome Home Veterans at Richard’s Coffee Shop, 165 North Main Street, Mooresville
Details: Join us for a night of music and comedy at Richard’s Coffee Shop on Main Street in Downtown Mooresville. Starting at 6pm, Kayla Vega will be in the spotlight singing hit songs from the 50’s – Present. Kayla will be raising money for The Officer Jordan H. Sheldon Memorial Scholarship. Starting at 8 p.m., the popular and very funny comedian Paul Corrigan will have you in stitches with his comedy routine. Paul will be raising money for the veteran’s at Richard’s Coffee Shop.


Walk Thru Bethlehem

Where: Camp Wesley, 3090 Deal Road, Mooresville
Details: Come join us in our Walk Thru Christmas drama. See what Bethlehem was like and experience the first Christmas. Free admission and fun for all ages. Event is outdoors, so please plan accordingly.


A Classic Christmas in Mooresville

Where: Downtown Mooresville, 215 N. Main Street, Mooresville
Details: A Classic Christmas in Mooresville will bring you Santa Visits, Horse-Drawn Wagon Rides, a Life Size Snow Globe, Victorian Carolers, Ice Skating, Petting Zoo, Unique Shopping & Dining, Hot Cocoa, Popcorn, Cotton Candy, S’mores, Crafts and more. All events take place from 6 to 8 p.m. except for Ice skating which will take place from 5 to 9 p.m. Cost is $5 for Ice Skating, s’mores kit is $1 and hot chocolate is $2.

2019 Holiday Spectacular

Details: Academy of Dance and Fine Arts Ballet Companies present our 9th annual Holiday Spectacular to benefit Ace and TJ’s Grin Kids. Saturday night’s 5 p.m. show includes our Holiday Benefit Show, a variety show featuring TJ from the “Ace and TJ” Show along with Singers and dancers and the Nutcracker Suite. There will also be a performance of the Nutcracker Suite on Sunday, December 15, at 1 p.m. All proceeds from this event are donated to Grin Kids.
