Drug-Alcohol Coalition of Iredell (DACI), in partnership with the Mooresville ABC Board, is requesting proposals for 2020-2021 funding to support substance use prevention, education, and treatment efforts. DACI is requesting proposals for these funds to utilize resources and provide evidence-based practices to reduce substance use, misuse, overdose and overdose deaths.

The funds shall be used for the prevention, education, or treatment of alcohol and substance use issues; to include but not limited to: educational materials, evidenced-based curriculums/programs, training materials, community outreach, and to agencies that support individuals without insurance or funds to access treatment.

Applications must be received by 5 p.m. on May 15, 2020.

Restrictions

♦ Funds may only be utilized within the Town of Mooresville, or to support residents residing in area codes 28115 and 28117.

♦ Funds may not be used for employment purposes of any kind, type, or purpose.

♦ Substance use treatment providers must be able to demonstrate credentialing within your local Managing Care Organization (MCO).

♦Non-MCO credentialed providers must be able to demonstrate current accreditation from an independent review board such as CARF or CQL.
