The Statesville Police Department reported the following arrests:
FEBRUARY 28
♦ Crystal T. Silvers, 39, of Zion Church Road, Hickory, charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, misdemeanor probation violation, and a misdemeanor drug offense.
MARCH 3
♦ Talisa L. Ramseur, 30, of 5th Street, charged with involuntary manslaughter and three counts of misdemeanor child abuse.
MARCH 4
♦ John William Ferrerri, 29, of Hill Terrace, Statesville, charged with assault by strangulation, misdemeanor false imprisonment, misdemeanor assault on a female, misdemeanor interfere with emergency communications, assault inflicting serious injury in the presence of a minor, and violation of a domestic violence protection order.
MARCH 6
♦ Bradley Eugene Benfield, 38, of Statesville, charged with obtaining property by false pretenses.
MARCH 9
♦Jason Romane Bailey, 40, of Crescent Lane, Statesville, charged with assault by strangulation and misdemeanor assault on a female.
MARCH 10
♦ Andrew Preston Spiva, 42, of Ginger Lane, Mooresville, charged with possession with intent to manufacture, sell or deliver methamphetamine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances and a misdemeanor drug offense.

The SPD is investigating the following crime reports:
FEBRUARY 28
♦ A Statesville resident reported that a box of assorted food items was stolen during a break-in in the 900 block of Crossroads Drive.
MARCH 2
♦ A Statesville resident reported a Bose Sound Link Bluetooth speaker was stolen from a motor vehicle during a break-in in the 1000 block of Foxcroft Lane.
MARCH 3
♦ A Statesville resident reported a driver’s license, social security card and credit cards were stolen during a vehicle break-in in the 400 block of Hartness Road.
♦ A Statesville resident reported that $100 was stolen during an assault and common law robbery in the area of Garfield Street and South Center Street.
MARCH 4
♦ A Statesville resident reported an armed robbery in which $100 was stolen in the 1200 block of Wilson Lee Boulevard.
♦ A Statesville resident reported the theft of an iPhone and $500 during a break-in in the 600 block of Durham Avenue.
♦ A Statesville resident reported that a Samsung phone, a blue purse and $152 were stolen during a common law robbery in the 500 block of Park Drive.
MARCH 6
♦ A Statesville resident reported that someone stole an Xbox video game system and caused property damage during a break-in in the 1100 block of Wilson Lee Boulevard.
MARCH 8
♦ A Statesville resident reported that someone stole electric space heaters and caused property damage during a break-in in the 400 block of Monroe Street.
MARCH 9
♦ A Statesville resident reported that someone stole feminine hygiene products and undergarments and prescription medication during a break-in in the 1300 block of Old Salisbury Road.
