The Statesville Police Department is investigating the following crime reports:

SEPTEMBER 1
♦ An individual reported an assault and robbery in the 700 block of West Pine Circle.

SEPTEMBER 5
♦ An individual reported an assault with serious injury in the area of Wilson lee Boulevard and Durham Street.

SEPTEMBER 6
♦ An individual reported an assault with serious injury in the 1500 block of Shelton Avenue.

♦ An individual reported the theft of a Volkswagen Passat in the 200 block of Mocksville Highway.

SEPTEMBER 8
♦ An individual reported an attempted breaking or entering in the 300 block of Harrill Street.

SEPTEMBER 10
♦ An individual reported a motor vehicle break-in in the 300 block of North Oakland Avenue.

♦ An individual reported a break-in in the 1000 block of West End Avenue. Camera equipment, a Nintendo Switch, and an Apple iPad were reported stolen.

SEPTEMBER 12
♦ An individual reported the theft of a 2011 BMW 335I, along with a purse containing $400 and miscellaneous cleaning items from the 1500 block of Shelton Avenue.

SEPTEMBER 13
♦ An individual reported a break-in and assault in the 900 block of Jackson Street.

SEPTEMBER 14
♦ An individual reported a break-in in the 100 block of Broom Street. Miscellaneous property was reported stolen.

SEPTEMBER 15
♦ An individual reported a break-in in the 600 block of Hackett Street.

♦ An individual reported a break-in in the 800 block of Opal Street.

Felony Arrests

SEPTEMBER 2
♦ Dexter Antonio Campbell, 48, of South Center Street, Statesville, charged with possession of cocaine and misdemeanor resist or obstruct a public officer.

♦ David Jeffrey Lawrence, 63, of Winston Avenue, Statesville, charged with possession of cocaine and a misdemeanor drug offense.

SEPTEMBER 12
♦ Devin Chase Reid, 28, of East Broad Street, Statesville, charged with assaulting a law enforcement officer resulting in serious injury, misdemeanor resist or obstruct an officer, and misdemeanor intoxicated and disruptive.
