The Statesville Police Department reported the following arrests:

JANUARY 22
♦ Angie Belinda Geddings, 38, of Hovis Road, Charlotte, charged with possession of schedule II controlled substance, misdemeanor trespassing, misdemeanor larceny, and three misdemeanor drug offenses.

♦ Manuel Rose Maysonet, 34, of Reid Street, Statesville, charged with violation of a domestic violence protective order, first-degree burglary, misdemeanor resist or obstruct an officer, and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia.

Crime Reports

The SPD is investigating the following crime reports:

JANUARY 11
♦ A resident of Center Street reported a case of identity theft.

JANUARY 16
♦ An individual reported a motor vehicle break-in and the theft of a firearm in the 1600 block of East Broad Street.

♦ An individual reported a breaking and entering and property damage in the 700 block of Wall Street.

♦ A resident of South Chipley Ford Road reported a case of identity theft and financial card fraud.

♦ A resident of the 300 block of Vernon Lane reported a first-degree burglary.

JANUARY 17
♦ A resident of the 1100 block of Alexander Street reported a motor vehicle break-in and the theft of a wallet and its contents.

JANUARY 19
♦ A resident of Metropolitan Avenue reported a breaking and entering and assault.

JANUARY 21
♦ A resident of Detroit, Mich., reported a theft of a Ford F250 from a location on Garner Bagnal Boulevard.

JANUARY 22
♦ A resident of Russell Street reported a breaking and entering and larceny of two dirt bikes.
