Who can vote in the May 17 primary election?

Registered voters across Iredell County can vote in the primary election. However, voters affiliated with any political party must vote a ballot of candidates for their party.

Voters registered as Unaffiliated may choose the ballot of candidates for any party primary (Democratic or Republican).

Registered Libertarians in Iredell County do not have a partisan primary ballot. Libertarians who live inside the city limits of Statesville can vote on the Statesville City Municipal elections. Libertarians who live inside the Mooresville Ward #3 can vote on the primary contest for that ward.
