After a three-year COVID-19 pause, the Town of Troutman resumed its Party in the Park series on Saturday afternoon to bring the community together for music, food, and fun for all ages.

The Deja-Vu Band rocked out with classic music from the ‘60s, ‘70s, and ‘80s to the delight of the crowd of about 150 who picnicked on the grass with burgers, hotdogs, and ice cream from Southern Treats.

Parents sat on the sidelines of the splash pad as delighted kids beat the heat and frolicked in water and interacted with the foam toys and musical-themed fixtures. Other parents played with toddlers and kids on the playground, climbing the rock wall, sliding, swinging, and rocking on the spring animals.

Troutman Business Network was on hand promoting the “shop local” message and inviting folks who have businesses or provide services in Troutman to join their efforts to help both businesses and customers.
