Darrell Andrew Isenhour, 83, of Statesville, N.C., went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at Iredell Memorial Hospital.

Born in Iredell County on February 5, 1936, in Iredell County, he was the son of the late David Andrew Isenhour and Lillian McCoy Isenhour.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two daughters, Susan Isenhour and Jewel Whitesides, along with two sisters, Jean Eisenhower and Barbara Bailey.

Darrell worked many years at John Boyle Company as an inspector and served in the United States Army from 1954-1957. He was a faithful member of Statesville Full Gospel Tabernacle (now known as The Wave). He loved to sing and was an instrumental part of building the current church.

Darrell leaves behind one daughter, Shirley Bost of Statesville; and one son, Ricky Isenhour of Conover; one sister, Anna Sue Van-Wagoner of Utah.

He also leaves behind friends and his loving church family.

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at 3 p.m. at Iredell Memorial Gardens with Pastor Max Hayes and Pastor Tammy James officiating.

A memorial service will follow the graveside service at The Wave, 135 Village Point Drive, Statesville, beginning at 4 p.m.
