Miss Kerensa Elizabeth “Keri Beth” Kontos, 40, of Statesville, N.C., passed away at her residence on Saturday, February 1, following a brief illness. Born in Washington, D.C., on May 30, 1979, she was the daughter of Robert George Kontos and Rhonda Elaine Wooten Kontos. She was and will always be her “Daddy’s Girl.” She attended Lifespan Creative Campus in Troutman.

“Keri Beth” is survived by her parents, by Uncles and Aunts, Doug and Amy Wooten of Statesville, and Paula Pardowsky and husband Jim of Salida, Colo.; by cousins, Jennifer Proctor of Salida, Haley Wooten of Charlotte, N.C., and Jay Wooten and his wife Tami of Statesville; by numerous other cousins; and by adopted family members, Suzie Davis and Nora Wyly.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Bethlehem United Methodist Church in the CLC. A funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the Church Sanctuary with the Revs. Michael Flack and Olin Isenhour officiating. Interment will follow in the Church Cemetery.
