Lancine Moore Thompson, 53, of Mooresville, N.C., went to be with her Lord on January 1, 2020, at Lake Norman Regional Medical Center after a long struggle with Multiple Sclerosis that had regretfully left her bedridden. She was born December 30, 1966, to Henry Lance and Maxine Caudill Moore at Alleghany Memorial Hospital in Sparta, N.C. She was married to Joel Kent Thompson on June 6, 2001.

Lancine was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, Clyde Moore of Dobson, N,.C. and Osse and Marjorie Caudill of Sparta, N.C. In addition to her husband Joel, Lancine is survived by her beloved son, Justin Scott Moore; granddaughter, Leia Skye Moore; grandson, Kristopher Lucas Moore; parents, Henry and Maxine Moore of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; grandmother, Sena Moore of Dobson, N.C.; sister, Cindy Moore Alberg of Pilot Mountain, N.C.; several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 6, at 4 p.m. in the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home with Eddie Karriker officiating.

Cavin-Cook Funeral Home and Crematory, Mooresville, is serving the Thompson family.
