Sara Blackwelder Bostian, 93, of Mount Ulla, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020.

She was born on August 19, 1927, in Mount Ulla to the late James Vance Blackwelder and Effie Christy Blackwelder. Mrs. Bostian was retired from Draymore Manufacturing. She was a very creative and polished woman, which reflected in her home and style. She had a love for collecting angels and decorated for every holiday. Besides being an excellent southern cook, she made the best chocolate pie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Paul Bostian; brothers, Clyde, Lewis, Cecil, Tub, and Thad Blackwelder; and sisters, Thelma McCune, Annie Lou Woodfin, Neta Overcash, Evelyn Honeycutt, and Hilda Hagans.

She is survived by her children, Sandy B. Harp (Mike), Robert P. Bostian Jr. (Pam); grandchildren, Heather Webb-Singh (Hersh), Chelsye Harp (Jason Gillespie), Sarah Barreto (Rafael), Robert Paul Bostian III; and great grandson, Declan Singh.
