Trena Denise Miller, beloved daughter of Gladys (Kenneth) Everhart and the late Clyde Alexander Baity, was born in Iredell County on April 27, 1972. She departed this life on Saturday, June 20, 2020, at her home.

She attended the South Iredell High School and also attended South Iredell AME Zion Church. Trena was certified in Customer Service. She was loved by many, and was the mother of many. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Tina Wilson; a paternal grandmother, Aletha Mae Miller; and her maternal grandparents, Gertrude Miller and William Oscar Miller.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her fiancé, Matthew Cowen of the home; her children, Keyon Miller, Aaron Jordon, Tyrek Allison, Joda Montgomery, Jateare McNeal, Junetta McNeal, Jeona McNeal, and Nyaisha Cowan; a host of grandchildren; brothers, Tyron Gardner, Randy Miller, Kaseem Miller, Jovan Miller, Maurice (La’Kesha) Tucker, and Breon Tucker; her sisters, Talaya Miller, Shenell (Joe) Leonard, Tshilanda Stockton, Apostle Pleshetta La-Faye Smith Redmond, and Wendy Wilson; special friends, Freddie Blackmon, Bryan Dobbins, Ashley Millsaps, Max Maxwell, Rachael Sexton, Rick and Coffee, Pam Rankin; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted Friday, June 26, 2020, at Rutledge and Bigham Funeral at 2 p.m. Reverend Bobbie Samuels will officiate and burial will follow in the South Iredell AME Zion Church Cemetery in Troutman.
