Betty Dennis Amos, 92, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Friday, May 14, 2021, at Gordon Hospice House in Statesville.

She was born on October 6, 1928, in Randolph County, N.C., to the late Hayes and Grace Grey Dennis. Mrs. Amos was a member of Southside Baptist Church in Mooresville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Lee Amos; grandson, Chris Pace; and sisters, Dot Helms and Elsie Hunter.

Mrs. Amos is survived by her daughters, Linda Carr, and Terrie Fink and husband Jeff; grandson, Brian Pace; sister, Viola Cline; brother, Gene Dennis and his wife Barbara; and a number of special nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 17, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at Cavin-Cook Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Klinedinst and Rev. Dr. Hugh Cooper will be officiating. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.
