Georgia Lee Miller, 89, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on July 23, 2021. She was born on September 19, 1931, in Rowan County, N.C., to the late Charlie and Nancy Childers Belk.

Georgia loved country music, especially Elvis Presley. She always enjoyed attending concerts with her friends and family. She loved NASCAR, Daryl Waltrip, UNC-Chapel Hill basketball and animals of all kinds. She was a great mom and loved her children and her family. She cared for them immensely and was always willing to go the extra mile. Above all, she loved and served God and faithfully read her Bible daily.

In addition to her parents, Georgia was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Miller; son, Jeffrey Miller; grandson, Sam Miller; granddaughter, Kelley Gugenheim; brothers, Craig and Ed Belk; sisters, Ruth Belk, Sadie Jones, Mildred Pressley, Virginia Cordell and Lucille Little.

She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Shaw, Pamela Miller, and Stephanie Allen (Ken); grandchildren, Kenny Ballard, Jessie Colton (Jason), and April Bentley; sisters, Sarah Jones and Decie Davis; and a special niece, Pat Cagle.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, July 29, 2021, at 11 a.m. at Iredell Memorial Gardens, Statesville, N.C.
