Robert “Bob” Hugh Fromme, 77, of Hamptonville, N.C., returned to Heaven on August 20, 2021, and was welcomed home by Jesus and his birth mother, Wilma.

Born November 20, 1943 in Covington, Ky., Bob was raised as the son of the late Robert Wilbur Fromme and Lida Beth Eveland Fromme. He was preceded in death by his son, Matthew, and son-in-law, Kenny Krulish; and his beloved dogs, Sophie and Keanu.

Bob was a lieutenant with the Iredell County Sheriff’s Office and finished his career with the ATF as a Special Agent, specializing in counterterrorism. He loved serving his community as an active lay minister at Harmony United Methodist Church. He was so happy living in the country, and creating an expansive garden with his bride at his side and was happiest when they were joined by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In fact, the only thing Bob loved more than his family was the Lord, whom he spent hours with daily.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 25 years, Ocia; children, Brian, Amy Krulish Stern and husband David, Eric and Laurie; stepchildren, Wayne and Carla Reavis; five grandchildren; three great grandchildren; sisters, Martha Jarvis and Neva McGill; beloved rescue dogs, Honey and Laila; and numerous other loving family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, at Harmony United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Harmony United Methodist Church, 136 W. Memorial Highway, Harmony, NC. Burial will follow in Harmony Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Bob’s GoFundMe page google link https://gofund.me/f7143dff.
