Freddie Frank Falls Jr., 81, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, February 23, 2022, at Accordius Health of Statesville. He was born in Iredell County on February 3, 1944, and was the son of the late Freddie Frank Falls and Orilee Blackwell.

He was a business owner of his own mobile clothing store. Freddie will surely be missed.

He leaves to cherish the memory of his life one son, Vincent Lamar Rucker of Statesville, N.C.; one daughter, Lisa Blackwell of Phornix, Ariz.; three sisters, Betty Jo Falls, of New York, and Ruby (Oscar) Davidson and Mary Jane Miller, both of Statesville; seven grandchildren, Tayven Rucker, Mariyah Rucker, Juquail Rucker, Carmiyah Rucker, Tracy “Tre” Bost, Shanquena Bost, and Tiffany Bost; four great grandchildren, Queniyah Bost, Laniyah Glen, Isaiah Bost, and Anyah Bost; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be conducted on Friday, March 4, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, Statesville. Reverend James Williams will deliver the eulogy. Members of the family will receive friends in the Rutledge and Bigham chapel from 1:30 to 2 p.m.. Burial will follow in the Belmont Cemetery.
