Lucile J. Lankas, 94, of Taylorsville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025, at her home. She was born May 29, 1931, in Chicago, Ill., the daughter of the late John P. Eyth and Josephine H. Eyth.

Lucile attended Trinity Church in Oaklawn, Ill. She enjoyed knitting and word searches. In her younger years, she was a gymnast and ballerina.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Laddie J. Lankas.

Those left to cherish and honor her memories include her son, Scott M. Lankas (Renee) of Taylorsville; her daughter, Deborah Lu Lankas Crettol (Chuck) of Illinois; her grandchildren, Kimerly Perry (Wayne), Jonathan Crettol (Karen), Matthew Lankas, Michael Lankas (Jennifer), Jennifer Lankas Curtis (Adam), and Nicole Lankas (Cole); her great grandchildren, Madison Perry, Mason Perry, Jack Crettol, Boston Curtis, Sophia Curtis, Koa Shumate, and Paislee Lankas; and a special caregiver, Jessie Cozzens.
