The Full Bloom Film Festival on Thursday announced its official film selections for 2025. A total of 46 films from 17 countries have been selected to screen during the 10th anniversary festival, which will take place September 11–13 in Downtown Statesville.
“Each year it gets harder to choose because the quality of submissions keeps getting better,” said Brandon Sproul, Full Bloom Film Festival Committee member. “As we celebrate 10 years of Full Bloom, this year’s lineup represents some of the most powerful and captivating films we’ve ever had. I’m incredibly proud of how this festival has grown, especially in our ability to attract such outstanding independent work.
“These films will challenge, entertain, and inspire our community. I can’t wait for you to see them,” he added.
This year’s official selections span narrative and documentary features, shorts, and animation, submitted by filmmakers across the United States and internationally. The 2025 festival showcases stories from the United Kingdom, Belgium, Turkey, Spain, France, Chile, Iran, Poland, Nepal, the Netherlands, Australia, the Russian Federation, and more.
