Ralph Howard Gobble, 77, of Dobson, N.C., passed away Monday, June 23, 2025, at his residence. He was born June 25, 1947, in Cleveland, Va., to the late Dave Gobble and Elizabeth Fields Gobble.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vernie Lambert Gobble; an infant sibling; and sisters, Patty Howard, Linda Duty and Mary Ferrell.

Those left to cherish Ralph’s memory are his daughter, Joyce Stanley; sister, Ethel Artrip; grandchildren, Christopher Gobble (Jodi), Amanda Gobble and Amber Gobble (Charles Brunson); great-grandchildren, Trevor, Maci, Waylon and Maddison Gobble, and Kaiden, Taiden and Draiden Cowles, Hayden Shores and Hasley Brunson.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, June 27, at Tabernacle Baptist Church with Rev. Curtis White officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 10 until 11 a.m. Burial will take place in the Field’s Family Cemetery in Lebanon, Va. Pallbearers will be Christopher Gobble, Jeff Duty, Darrell Duty, Tim Jones, Chris Martin, and Daniel Renegar.
