Patricia “Patt” Louise Seyller, 64, of Mooresville, N.C., went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on June 24, 2025, following complications from a chronic illness.
Patt was raised in Carpentersville, Ill., where she met her loving husband Terry. The couple married on March 28, 1981. They moved to Mooresville in 1985, following the birth of their daughter. The family grew again in 1990 with the birth of their son. Patt worked in the tile industry after moving to Mooresville, first for Miller Tile and then Quality Tile, which she eventually owned. For the past 15 years, she also worked at Terra Bella Senior Living and became dear friends with many co-workers and residents. In her spare time, Patt enjoyed collecting Peanuts memorabilia, bird watching, spending time with her family, and traveling when her health allowed. She was unwaveringly dedicated to her family and was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother. She was also a member of St. Mark’s Lutheran Church and loved the Lord with all her heart.
Patt was greeted in Heaven by her mother, Virginia Patterson; stepfather, Paul Patterson; grandmother, Mary Jarvis; grandfather, French Jarvis; mother-in-law, Dorothy Seyller; and father-in-law, Claire Seyller; as well as several beloved pets.
Left behind to mourn are her husband of 44 years, Terry Seyller; daughter, Margaret and husband Thomas Gooden; son, Henry and wife Meghan Seyller; grandchildren, Jack Seyller, Wesley Gooden, Audie Seyller, Ezra Seyller, and Sarah Gooden, as well as her siblings, David Jarvis (Darla), Jim Burroughs (Penny), Calvin Burroughs (Della), Pam Voss (Kirt), and Marie Szerokman.
The family is extremely grateful to the staff at the S. Mitchell Mack Hospice House for the wonderful care they gave Patt and for everyone who was by her side, helping her family and praying for her during her final days.
The service will be held Saturday, June 28, 2025, at 1 p.m., at St. Mark’s Lutheran Church in Mooresville. The family will receive visitors at the church after the service.
