Statesville Public Power is preparing to roll out a brand-new Outage Management System (OMS) this fall – and it’s going to be a game-changer in how city officials keep electric utility customers informed during power outages.
Once the new system goes live, customers can expect:
♦ A real-time power outage map;
♦ Text notifications with outage details and restoration updates; and
♦ Faster, more transparent communication
Before the new OMS system is launched, the city needs existing customers to provide a current phone number and email address to ensure they receive alerts and updates.
This applies to City of Statesville electric utility customers only.
How to update your contact info:
♦ Visit www.statesvillenc.net and click “Update My Info” under Quick Links. You’ll need your utility billing number to complete the form.
♦ Call Customer Service at 704-878-3564 and select Option 7.
♦ Update your information in person when you visit Customer Service to pay your bill.
