Frances Head Patrick, 82, of North Wilkesboro, N.C., passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 16, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House in Statesville, N.C.

Frances was born August 18, 1942, in Iredell County to the late John David Head and Mildred Mayberry Head. She was a graduate of Central High School and a member of Pisgah Methodist Church. She loved flowers and gardening, and she dearly loved her family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Tony Head of Hiddenite, and two brothers-in-law, Lanny Sloan and Landis Grose, both of Statesville.

Those left to cherish Frances’ memory are her husband of 56 years, Ted Herman Patrick; a son, Stephen Patrick of North Wilkesboro; five sisters, Louise Grose of Statesville, Joyce Lowrance (Jimmy) of Hiddenite, Nancy Duncan (Randy) of Statesville, Peggy Marlin (Larry) of Statesville, and Jane Sloan of Statesville; brother, Benny Head (Kim) of Hiddenite; sisters-in-law, Martha Head of Hiddenite, Joyce Roselle (Frank) of North Wilkesboro, and Peggy Gray; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, July 21, at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery in Hiddenite with Rev. Matthew Harrold officiating. The family will visit with friends in the Family Life Center following the service.
