William “Eddie” Bingham, 74, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on Thursday, July 17, 2025, at Novant Health Presbyterian Medical Center.

He was born on July 14, 1951, in Davidson County, N.C., to the late William and Edna Barnes Bingham. Mr. Bingham was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church in Advance, N.C. He was an avid Carolina Panthers, Atlanta Braves, and Carolina Tar Heels fan. Eddie loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was a wonderful, kind, caring, and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather and will be missed by all.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Billy Ray Crabb; and brother, Danny Bingham.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Ruby Doby Bingham; children, Patricia Byrd (Tommy) and Michael Bingham (Danielle); sister, Cheryl Lomax (Jay); grandchildren, Brittany Risner (Chris), Bradley Byrd (Colleen), Tyler Crabb (Chloe), Ian Bingham, Ally Bingham, and Emma Bingham; great grandchildren, Dom Fooce, Braxton Risner, Elliott Risner, Amarah Risner, and Daniel Byrd; niece, Debra Lomax; and nephews, Chris Bingham and Brian Bingham.

The family will receive friends on Monday, July 21, from 12 to 1 p.m. with a service following at 1 p.m. at Fellowship Baptist Church, 1084 Rainbow Road, Advance, NC 27006, with Pastor Wayne Swisher officiating. Burial will follow the service in the church cemetery.
