The Statesville Corvette Club is sponsoring a Cruise-In and Car Show on Saturday, August 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The show, which will benefit Purple Heart Homes, will be held at the Purple Heart Homes headquarters at 755 Washington Street.

A $25 donation to Purple Heart Homes covers the entry fee for the car show. Speciality awards will be presented. All hot rods, trucks, muscle cars, imports and Corvettes are welcome.

The event will feature a DJ as well as food trucks and a 50/50 raffle. Visitors can bring pop-up tents to enjoy the show. Tiny homes that are built on-site for veterans will also be on display.
