Iredell Health System announced Friday that Stacy Lewis has been promoted to director of Imaging Services.

Stacy Lewis

Lewis recently celebrated 20 years with Iredell Health, most recently serving as assistant director of Imaging Services. She has built lasting relationships in her tenure with the health system.

“My staff at Iredell is my extended family,” said Lewis. “We love and support one another and coming to work feels like an extension of home.”

Lewis started at Iredell as a radiology receptionist in 2004. She later earned her Associate of Applied Science Degree in Radiography from Catawba Valley Community College. She earned her Bachelor of Healthcare Management and Master of Health and Leadership from Western Governors University.

She is excited to step into a new role.

“Imaging services are rapidly evolving and play a vital role in the diagnosis and treatment of our patients,” Lewis explained. “I’m excited to explore new technologies and advancements in existing technologies to expand upon and offer additional service lines to better serve our patients and our community.”

Leadership is confident in Lewis’ abilities.

“Her dedication, deep understanding of our operations, and collaborative spirit have made Stacy a trusted leader,” said Joshua Self, Iredell Health System’s vice president of operations. “I’m genuinely excited about the direction the department is heading with Stacy and look forward to the future we’ll build together.”

When not at work, Lewis loves spending time with her husband Tyler and her son Easten as well as running, crocheting, and fishing. Most afternoons and weekends, you will find her on a baseball field, practicing with or cheering on her son.
