The Extension Master Gardener Volunteer Association of Iredell County invites the community to attend a special fundraising event on September 13.

A presentation by accomplished landscape designer Jay Sifford will highlight a morning event that organizers promise will be filled with “inspiration and garden magic.”

The event will be held at the Iredell County Cooperative Extension Center, located at 444 Bristol Drive in Statesville. Doors open at 8:30 a.m. A continental breakfast will be served. Garden tours and a Q&A with a master gardener will be held prior to Sifford’s presentation at 10 a.m.

Sifford’s accolades include:

♦ Named North Carolina’s Most Outstanding Landscape Designer by LuxLife Magazine;
♦ Recipient of the 2024 Perennial Plant Association Landscape Design Award of Merit;
♦ Multiple-time honoree of Best of Houzz for design and service excellence; and
♦ Featured in Southern Living Magazine

His work transforms outdoor spaces into immersive sanctuaries that tell stories through expert plant palettes, sculptural forms, and layered design. This event is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the best in the field.
