Ms. Sharon Dianne Allison was born in Iredell County on November 24, 1958, and was the daughter of Rachel Earl Allison and the late Tony Allison. She passed away on Monday, August 18, 2025, at Duke Health Lake Norman Hospital.

She was a graduate of North Iredell High School, Class of 1978, and was a member of First Baptist Church in Harmony. She served faithfully at the church as a Sunday School Teacher, Usher, and the Kitchen Committee, and worked with youth activities and several other functions.

In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her son, Darnell Franklin Allison; and brothers, Ronnie E. Allison, Tony Curtis Allison and James Stanley Allison.

In addition to her mother, Mrs. Rachel E. Allison, Dianne leaves to cherish the memory of her life her siblings, Donnie E. (Bonnie) Allison, Debra A. (Robert) Daniels, Sonja A. Smith and Robert Wayne (Terica) Allison; grandchildren, Presto Allison, Tyrek McClelland, and Arianna Allison; great grandchildren, Emerald McClelland, Kaira McClelland, Kairi McClelland, and Elias McClelland; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, the First Baptist Church Family, other relatives and friends.
