The Statesville Police Department will host the 2025 Statesville Night Out on Thursday, October 2.
This free community event, which will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Downtown Statesville at West Broad and Mulberry Streets, is part of the nationwide National Night Out initiative that brings neighbors and law enforcement together in support of public safety and crime prevention.
First launched in 1984, National Night Out has become a signature event across the country, uniting communities through local gatherings designed to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the public.
Attendees can enjoy free hamburgers and hot dogs prepared by the Iredell County FOP Lodge #10, music, inflatables, face painting, public safety displays, and informational booths hosted by local nonprofits, civic groups, and government agencies.
“This is a great opportunity for our citizens to connect with the officers who serve and protect our city,” said Statesville Police Chief David Onley. “Events like this help strengthen trust and create lasting partnerships that make our community safer.”
Organizations interested in setting up a booth with giveaways or materials should contact Cpl. Chan Austin at 704-878-3442 or caustin@statesvillenc.net.
