Jeffery Mitchell Peet, 47, of Statesville, N.C., was born in Iredell County on September 15, 1978, to the late Jeffery Wayne Daniels and Daphne Lucille Peet. He entered into eternal life on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, N.C. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Jasmin Peet.

Jeffery attended the Iredell County County Schools, and he worked in lawncare services. He will truly be missed.

Jeffery leaves to cherish the memory of his life one daughter, Senteria Corry of Statesville; one brother, Gary Peet of Statesville; one sister, Carrie Sherrill; three uncles, Johnny Dalton, James Summers, and Thomas Summers; seven aunts, Estella Dalton of Harmony; Judy Parks, Retha Peet, Darcy Peet, Della Peet, Pamela Daniels, and Gwendolyn Summers; two nephews, Tevin Sherrill of Hickory, N.C., and Eric Sherrill of Mocksville, N.C.; one niece, Monae Sherrill; two special cousins, Calvin (Rena) Daniels and Fred Summers; and a host of other cousins, relatives, and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 23, 2025, at Rutledge and Bigham Mortuary, Statesville, N.C. Visitation will be held from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Minister Joy Stevenson will deliver the eulogy.
