Iredell Christian Ministries has launched its first-ever “Stock the Freezer” fundraiser, which runs through October 7. This initiative aims to support ICM’s expanding efforts to serve families facing food insecurity in Iredell County and surrounding areas.
“Iredell Christian Ministries has seen a dramatic increase in the number of food insecure families in our community,” said Executive Director Brandi Jones. “Through this fundraiser, donors can stock their own pantry while giving back — or they can donate purchased items to stock our freezer. These donated items will go directly to local families in need.”
In partnership with Mrs. Pumpkin’s baked goods, the fundraiser offers delicious frozen meals and desserts—including chicken pies, baked spaghetti, and cream cheese brownies—for purchase.
Community members can place orders in person at ICM or online via the ministry’s Zeffy fundraising page: https://www.zeffy.com/en-US/ticketing/stock-the-freezer-fundraiser
Each purchase supports ICM directly, with $5 from every item sold going toward the ministry’s programs. Donors may choose to pick up their items on October 17 at ICM, or they may donate their orders to help stock the ministry’s freezer. All donated items will be distributed to individuals and families in need.
