Thomas Wade Cross, 50, of Mooresville, N.C., passed away on September 27, 2025.

He was born August 1, 1975, son of Horace and Nancy Cross (Caldwell). Thomas graduated from North Carolina A&T with a degree in business. He was proud to be an Aggie. Thomas worked for GM Financial and recently celebrated his 25th work anniversary. Outside of work, he loved coaching football, and cheering for his favorite team, the Carolina Panthers. He had a deep love for family and was a person who never met a stranger. He will be missed and forever remembered for his unconditional love and unwavering kindness, especially for those he held close to his heart.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Horace Thomas Cross and Nancy LaVerne Caldwell Cross.

He is survived by his daughters, Trinity and Addison Cross; son, Paxton Patterson; bonus daughter, Nevaeh; fiancée, Anislee Owens; brother, Tylan (Takysha) Cross; niece, Nasia Cross; and many loving family members and friends.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 5, from 1 to 2 p.m. with a service following at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Cavin-Cook Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Glenwood Memorial Park.
