La Michoacana Taqueria & Tortilleria has opened for business in Mooresville.
Encouraged after building a strong and loyal community at their Charlotte location, the owners saw an opportunity to bring their fresh, handmade tortillas and authentic plates to a new town that shares their core values for bold flavors and warm community.
The menu, which is inspired by a wide variety of dishes from the owners’ Mexican homeland, includes tacos, tortas, seafood specialty plates, broth soups, deserts and more. Among the offerings are speedy lunch combos and a full-service bar.
La Michoacana Taqueria & Tortilleria is known for its Taco Tuesday specials, which feature a wide variety of meat selections. and the price is always reasonable.
“We’re excited to be a part of the Mooresville community and can’t wait for everyone to experience the flavors, the warmth, and the heart behind our dishes,” the owners said.
The restaurant is located at 168 Norman Station Blvd, Suite Z.
HOURS
Sunday – Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., and Friday & Saturday from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m.

Them’s good eatin’. Highly recommend. I hope they don’t fall victim to the location. Several other restaurants have come and gone there.
We had their food today and in the 6 years we’ve lived in Mooresville, this was the most authentic we’ve had. It tasted like the Mexican food we had access to in California, which is decidedly different from most versions found around here. We’re excited to go back! The location is not highly visible so I recommend they advertise where/when they can!
