Mitchell Community College will host its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, at 11 a.m. in Shearer Hall on the Statesville Campus to honor those who have served our country in the armed forces.

The ceremony will feature a performance by the Mitchell Community Band and a formal Presentation of the Colors conducted by the South Iredell High School JROTC. Attendees will also experience “Voices of Our Veterans,” a heartfelt presentation of personal stories from some of Mitchell’s veteran students, employees, alumni, and Board of Trustees members. Several Mitchell employees who are veterans will participate in the program, adding a personal touch to the event.

All veterans, students, faculty, staff, and members of the community are invited to attend and reflect, honor, and celebrate those who have served.
