Charles Lee Ferguson, 68, of Hickory, N.C., passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2025, at his home. He was born January 6, 1957, in Maryland, the son of the late Clifford Chapman Ferguson and Dorothy Irene Chandler Ferguson.

Charles worked in the construction industry and was of the Christian faith. He loved his puppy, “Baby Boy,” which he got at six weeks old and is now two years old. He enjoyed fishing and tinkering with cars. Charles also was a truck driver and traveled the United States. He was a good-hearted man — not selfish — and a man of few words. He was kind and had a unique sense of humor.

Loved ones left to cherish and honor his memories include his sisters, Reba Ferguson Pennell, Debbie Messer (Jim), and JoAnn Bean, all of Taylorsville, N.C.; his brother, Alan Ferguson (Teri) of Virginia; and a number of nieces, and nephews.

A Celebration of Life Graveside Service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at Three Forks Baptist Church Cemetery. Pastor Kevin Brown will officiate.
