Born on August 30, 1958, in Norfolk, Va., to the late Oscar Claude and Rebecca Grace Bower Marshall, Michael was known for his loyalty, hard work, thoughtfulness, selflessness, and kind heart.
A graduate of the University of South Carolina, Michael built a successful career as a manager with Springs Industries. He was a loving husband and father, and a faithful Deacon at Covenant Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Michael loved the outdoors—especially golfing, fishing, and spending time on the water.
