It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Danny Dwight Graham, 76, of Mooresville, N.C., who departed this life on November 17, 2025. Born on March 23, 1949, in Washington State to the late Dwight Graham and Mabel Dack Wegdahl, Danny dedicated his life to his family, his community, and his faith.
Danny was a loving husband to his wife, Ellen Graham, and they shared a bond that inspired all who knew them. A respected elder and deacon in his church, Danny had an unwavering commitment to his faith community, which was evident in every aspect of his life. He embodied the spirit of service, always ready to lend a helping hand or a listening ear.
For many years, Danny was a commercial fisherman, a career that he embraced with passion until he retired at the age of 54. Following his retirement, he pursued his interests in mechanics and carpentry, attending NASCAR Technical Institute to expand his skills. His creativity and hands-on approach to life extended beyond his work; they reflected his belief in the importance of craftsmanship, both in the things he built and the relationships he nurtured.
In addition to his numerous talents, Danny was known for his warmth and kindness. He loved his family deeply and was a steadfast friend to many. His legacy will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
The family invites those who knew him to join them in honoring Danny’s memory and sharing in the love and light he brought into their lives.
A celebration of Danny’s life will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 22, at Lighthouse Church, Mooresville, N.C. with Rev. Schuster officiating.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you share acts of kindness and service in his honor, reflecting the love and compassion Danny exemplified throughout his life.
