Danielle Moore Coward, 42, passed away at her home on Monday, November 17, 2025, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with gall bladder cancer.

She was born on May 12, 1983, in Iredell County, N.C. and was raised in Harmony, N.C. She was the daughter of the late George Calvin Moore and Linda Moore. She was a 2001 graduate of Gethsemane Christian School in Olin, N.C. She received her associate in arts degree from Mitchell Community College in 2003 and received her Bachelor of Science in Human Services from Gardner Webb University in 2009.

She was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, and wife to her children, grandchildren, and husband. She worked as a childcare provider at Cline Learning Center in Mooresville, where she always brightened up the room and made a positive, lasting impact on her co-workers and the children whom she cared for each day.

Danielle was preceded in death by a daughter, Adina Moore Coward, on December 2, 2003, and her father, George Calvin Moore on July 5, 2005.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Brenden Coward; children, Samira, Madison and Zachary Coward; and her grandchildren Brayden Coward and Brielle Coward, all of the home; her mother, Linda Moore; and brothers, David Moore and Derek Moore.

A celebration of Danielle’s life will be held on Tuesday December 2, 2025, at 11 a.m. at St. Peter’s Baptist Church. Graveside services will follow at 2 p.m. at Iredell Memorial Gardens in Statesville, N.C. At other times, the family will gather at Danielle’s home.
