The Iredell Arts Council will present its annual Member Art Show on Thursday, December 4, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The event will feature a dozen artists from across Statesville and Iredell County.

Held inside the historic Iredell County Jail—home to the Arts Council’s galleries and creative spaces—this year’s exhibition coincides with Downtown Statesville’s tree lighting, making it the perfect evening to celebrate art, community, and local culture.

The show features work across a variety of mediums, created by the following member artists:

♦ Peggy Palmer;
♦ Ginger Eklund;
♦ Donna Larkin;
♦ Carolyn Allan;
♦ Tony Griffin;
♦ John Minch;
♦ Sha’nee Wasson;
♦ Allegra Wilson;
♦ Allison Copeland;
♦ Robin McGuirt;
♦ Josh Dickens; and
♦ Michael Ziegler

From vibrant photography and expressive paintings to handcrafted ceramics and mixed media work, the Member Art Show offers something for every art lover. Visitors are encouraged to explore the artists merchandise, meet the artists, and support the local creative community by purchasing artwork just in time for the holiday season.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be provided.

The Iredell Arts Council is located at 203 S. Meeting Street in Statesville.
