Harry Guy Loftin Jr., 81, of Statesville, N.C., passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Gordon Hospice House.

Harry was born February 15, 1944, in Iredell County to the late Harry Guy Loftin Sr. and Floy Louise Douglas Loftin. He was a graduate of Troutman High School and a member of New Perth ARP Church. He served in the United States Air Force. Harry enjoyed golfing, fishing and playing pickleball in his spare time.

In addition to his parents, Harry was preceded in death by two sisters, Norma Morrison and Elaine Loftin.

Those left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 59 years, Patricia Porter Loftin; sons, Jeff Loftin (Marie) and Joel Loftin (Janice); grandchildren, Jacob Loftin, Kayla Loftin (Chris Williams), Taylor Loftin and Adeline Loftin; great-grandchildren, Riley Turner, Carson Williams and Millie Williams; sister, JoAnn Overcash; nephew, Danny Overcash; niece, Sherry Morrison; and great nephew, Travis Morrison.

A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. on Sunday, December 7, at New Perth ARP Church with Rev. Dan Hazen officiating. The family will visit with friends prior to the service from 2 until 3 p.m. Burial will be in the New Perth ARP Cemetery.
