Ripple Fiber, a 100-percent fiber-optic internet provider and network operator, reinforced its presence in the Statesville area this week with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. Joined by representatives of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce and the Downtown Statesville Development Corp., the provider rolled out the red carpet to welcome community members into its local office.
The ceremony featured the recently installed Ripple Fiber signage, following the provider’s 2025 acquisition of Statesville-founded BridgeNET Fiber.
“We are proud to serve the residents of Statesville, delivering high-speed fiber internet built to exceed the demands of today’s increasingly connected households,” said Greg Wilson, founder and CEO of Ripple Fiber. “As with each of our markets, our Statesville team is comprised of local talent to ensure excellent customer service and maintain strong community engagement. Residents are always welcome to stop by the local office to learn more about Ripple Fiber and which package best suits their home.”
Ripple Fiber offers a strong, dependable network supported by exceptional bandwidth, symmetrical speeds, enhanced security, and improved reliability. For those relying on Wi-Fi for remote work, online learning, gaming, or video streaming, multi-gig package options are available, centered on transparent pricing without contracts or hidden fees. Additionally, customers can expect to receive a White Glove Installation to ensure a seamless in-home setup.
“We’re excited to welcome Ripple Fiber to Statesville, as their investment brings the reliable, high-speed internet our community needs to thrive. From small businesses and remote workers to families relying on telehealth and online education, access to fast, dependable connectivity is essential,” said Beth Packman, co-president of the Greater Statesville Chamber of Commerce. “Ripple’s competitive pricing and symmetrical speeds mean residents can stream or upload content without interruption. This is an important step forward for Statesville’s growth and digital future.”
Earlier this year, Ripple Fiber announced the acquisition of BridgeNET Fiber, a provider grounded in community partnerships and founded on the desire to deliver next-generation connectivity. Empowered with expanded capabilities and resources, the locally led Statesville team is quickly expanding its footprint. With over 5,000 homes now fiber-ready, the current project is expected to reach over 18,000 premises.
Current areas with active construction include Salisbury Road and West Downtown, with construction beginning soon in South Statesville. Across Western North Carolina, Ripple Fiber is actively exploring expansion opportunities to continue closing the digital divide in unserved and underserved communities.
Residents in current and upcoming service areas can expect notifications directly from Ripple Fiber via mailed letters, door hangers, or both, which feature details on package options and construction expectations. If residents have any questions, they are encouraged to visit the retail office located at 215 S. Tradd Street in Statesville.
