Joseph Dewayne Seamone, 58, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on Monday, December 8, 2025, at Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. He was born June 11, 1967, in Cabarrus County, the son of Tom Seamone and the late Betty Griffin Seamone.

He worked for Statesville Brick Company for several years and was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, building model rockets, and NASCAR racing. He loved all animals, especially his cat “Fred.”

In addition to his father, those left to cherish and honor his memories include his daughters, Jessica Seamone and Chelsa Seamone, both of Hiddenite; and his sister, Stacey Seamone Cothren (Joey) of Taylorsville.

The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow in the Adams Funeral Home Chapel at 2 p.m. Pastor Eddie Jolly will officiate.
