It is with great sadness that the family of Elecia Lynn Galloway Dobbins announces her passing at the age of 58 on Friday, December 19, 2025, at Meadowbrook Nursing Home in Salisbury, N.C. She was born in Rowan County on December 11, 1967, the daughter of the late Howard Galloway and Viola Knox Hoshe. She was married to Gary Dobbins, who survives.

Lynn was a graduate of North Rowan High School. She was soft-spoken, quick to smile and loved her family. There is a place in our hearts that will remain empty, filled only by her. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

She leaves to cherish the memory of her life her loving husband Gary Dobbins of the home; her loving mother, Viola Hoshe of Cleveland; two sons, Derrick Jer’Maine (Laraissa) Galloway and Christian (Keara) Silam Little; two brothers, Gerry (LaWanda) Knox and Stephen Dwayne (Stephanie) Galloway; one uncle, John Marshall Knox; three aunts, Elnora Rankin, Esther Marie Hall and Janie Lucille Turman; two sisters-in-law, Teresa Smith and Crystal Pressley; two brothers-in-law, Allen Dobbins and Curtis Kimbrough; and five grandchildren, Jaxxon Little, Joisah Little, Lamyia Watford, Lyric Watford and Derrick Galloway, Jr.

A Celebration of Life Service will be conducted on Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at Mt Tabor Presbyterian Church at 1 p.m. The family will receive family and friends from 12:30 to 1 p.m. at the church. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
