Gibson Care Corp., the Home Instead franchise for Iredell and Alexander counties, was recently recognized for service excellence after receiving great ratings and reviews from seniors and their families on Caring.com and for responding to reviews.

Home Instead, which provides services to aging adults throughout Iredell and Alexander counties, was one of 375 senior care agencies in 45 states and the District of Columbia recognized for service excellence. Additionally, it was one of eight agencies to be recognized in North Carolina, the only home care agency to be recognized in Iredell County, and the only Home Instead franchise to be recognized in North Carolina.

AARP reports that 75 percent of seniors want to stay in their own homes as they age.
