Denise Marlene Glaser, 62, of Hiddenite, N.C., passed away at Iredell Memorial Hospital after an extended illness on January 11, 2026. She was born on November 23, 1963, in Virginia to the late Judy Thomas and William Glaser. Dee was an Exceptional Children teacher’s assistant at Alexander Central High School. She loved crafting in her spare time, often making gifts and things of need for those she loved.

Dee was preceded in death by her sister, Kimberly Parsons.

Dee is survived by her significant other, Howard Lackey of the home; her son Dustin Lee Lackey and wife Kimberly of Enterprise, Ala., her daughter Angela Harrington and husband Isreal of Taylorsville, her seven loving grandchildren, Sage Cook and husband Justin, Gracie Harrington, Skylar Harrington, Hallie Harrington, Kinsley Grace, Adalyn Gale, and Brady Lackey; her great grandson on the way Cayson Cook; and many other special family members and friends.
