Pine Lake Prep’s Speech and Debate Team recently competed at the Cavalier Invitational Speech and Debate Tournament at Durham Academy, competing against 54 other schools from 15 states. Some 765 students from Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, Ohio, Florida, Arizona, and even Taiwan competed in the event.

PLP junior Krish Korrapati placed second in Congressional Debate out of 115 competitors, earning a coveted bid to the prestigious Tournament of Champions!

PLP freshman Riya Korrapati also placed second in her event, Dramatic Interpretation. This was her very first Speech and Debate Tournament.
