Iredell Health System announced Wednesday that Tracie Faircloth has been promoted to director of the hospital-based skilled nursing facility at Iredell Memorial Hospital. She formerly served as assistant director and then interim director of the 48-bed facility.

Tracie Faircloth

Faircloth brings nursing experience in cardiology, hospice and skilled nursing. She earned her ADN from Stanly Community College and her BSN and MSN in Nursing Leadership from Chamberlain University.

She chose Iredell because of the supportive culture.

“I chose Iredell because it’s a true community hospital, caring for patients from acute care through rehabilitation,” said Faircloth. “It’s a place where people come first, and where I can lead in a way that strengthens teamwork, supports growth, and ensures every team member—and every patient—feels that same sense of value and belonging.”

Faircloth is excited for the chance to grow and support her team, creating and support a workplace where the team feels valued.

“I’ve worked within larger organizations before, and I often felt like just a number. From my very first interaction here, I’ve felt valued, seen, and genuinely appreciated by this team. That experience reminded me how powerful a supportive culture can be—and it inspires the kind of leader I strive to be.”

Outside of work, Faircloth is a proud mom to two adult children. She is kept thoroughly entertained by “the boys” — Oskar de la Rufta and Oliver Lukas, her long-haired miniature dachshunds, who believe they run the house. They keep her grounded, laughing, and always on her toes.
