Larry Wayne Hinson, 70, of Statesville, N.C., passed away on February 4, 2026. He was born in Iredell County on June 14, 1955, to the late Robert Wayne Hinson and Willa Mae Prevette Hinson.

He was also preceded in death by his sister, Rhonda Privette, and his daughter, Angela Jarvis.

He is survived by his children, Sherrill Hedrick, Nicholas Hinson (Jessica), and Christine Patino (Andres); 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren, two nephews; and several cousins, aunts, and uncles. His memory will live on through his children, grandchildren, and extended family.

A memorial service will be held on February 13, 2026, at 10 a.m. at Nicholson Funeral Home.
