The Iredell Arts Council and the Full Bloom Film Festival will present a special screening of the beloved film “Chocolat” on Tuesday, February 10. The screening, which begins at 6 p.m., will be held at the Iredell Arts Council, located at 203 South Meeting Street in Statesville.

Starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp, “Chocolat” is a whimsical and heartwarming romantic comedy that celebrates individuality, love, and the transformative power of food. Set in a quiet French village, the story follows a free-spirited chocolatier whose arrival challenges rigid traditions and inspires personal growth, curiosity, and connection among the townspeople.

Beloved for its visual storytelling, rich atmosphere and emotional depth, “Chocolat” has become a modern classic that continues to delight audiences while exploring themes of cultural openness, acceptance, and personal liberation.

This screening is part of the Full Bloom Film Festival Film Series, which brings acclaimed and meaningful films to the community year-round. The series reflects the festival’s commitment to celebrating storytelling, creativity, and diverse perspectives through cinema.
