The Iredell Arts Council will host a series of spoken word performances in the Old Jail Listening Room on Thursday, February 8.
The event, which is free and open to the public, begins at 7:30 p.m.
The Spoken Word Spotlight is filled with meaning, sadness and laughter as poets and storytellers take to the stage in this open mic event.
The Iredell Arts Council is located at 203 S. Meeting Street in Statesville.
