The Town of Mooresville on Tuesday announced the return of its signature event, the 3rd Annual Bands, Brews & BBQ Festival Presented by deBotech. This celebration of music, craft beer, and mouthwatering barbeque will take place on Saturday, September 13, from 4 to 9 p.m. in Liberty Park and Downtown Mooresville.

This free event features a blend of live music, regional BBQ, craft beer, and family-friendly fun, making it one of the most anticipated festivals in the Lake Norman region.

Since its debut in 2023, the Bands, Brews & BBQ Festival has grown significantly in both attention and recognition. In 2024, the event was honored with the “Rising Star Award” by the North Carolina Association of Festivals and Events. This award recognizes emerging events that demonstrate outstanding promise, innovation, and community impact within their first few years. The Festival’s rapid success highlights its role as a signature event for Mooresville and the surrounding region.

The 2025 festival will showcase over 20 BBQ food trucks, offering a wide variety of barbecue styles and Southern-inspired dishes. Attendees will be able to sample from some of the Southeast’s top culinary talents while exploring additional food, beverage, and retail vendors throughout the festival grounds.

A full music lineup will keep the energy high all evening long, kicking off with a regional favorite DialUp Radio and building to an unforgettable finish with two platinum-selling national touring acts. Jefferson Starship—famous for timeless anthems like “We Built This City” and “Jane”—will take the stage alongside Night Ranger, the arena rock powerhouses known for hits like “Sister Christian” and “(You Can Still) Rock in America.”

Families can enjoy the Family Fun Zone Presented by Piedmont HealthCare, which will include amusement rides, games, and interactive activities for children and guests of all ages.

The B3 Beer Garden will return with a selection of craft beer from local and regional breweries. Attendees will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of beer styles while supporting Mooresville’s growing craft beverage industry, including a special brew created by Ghostface Brewing with proceeds benefiting the U.S. Bobsled Team.

The town is proud to partner with deBotech, Inc. as the event’s presenting sponsor. Based in Mooresville, deBotech is a leader in advanced composite manufacturing and is known for producing the Olympic bobsled for the U.S. Bobsled Team. Members of the U.S. Bobsled Team will be on-site for meet & greet opportunities.

The festival will be held at Liberty Park and along Church Street in Downtown Mooresville. Admission is free, and all ages are welcome.
